A Lummi tribal member and former Lummi Tribe Chairman, Henry is a senior council member of the Lummi Indian Business Council. With a rich background, including leadership roles in organizations like United Indians of all Tribes and Lummi Economic Development, Henry is deeply engaged in community service. He currently serves on various committees and boards, such as Lummi Housing Authority, World Indigenous Studies, National Tribal Development Association, and Whatcom Democrats 42nd District.

Beyond the corporate realm, Steve is deeply committed to community engagement, dedicating almost two decades to coaching youth sports teams. On a personal note, Stephen, a tribal member of the Confederated Salish Kootenai Tribes and Pend d’Oreilles tribe descendant, was born on the Confederated Salish Kootenai Reservation, raised on the Fort Belknap Reservation, and proudly graduated from Harlem High School in Montana.
Married for over 29 years to Kim Anderson-Munford, Stephen is the proud father of two sons, Montana (24) and Jonathan (27). A recognized community leader, he and his wife founded the AVAIL Scholarship Program in 1993, contributing over $550,000 to San Diego County high school seniors.

Based in Las Vegas with his wife, Tina, their family includes three accomplished children: Jeremy, a second-generation McDonald’s franchise owner, and twins Jonathan and Jennifer.
